Synergy Church

Synergy Church was birthed in our hearts several years ago as we began to dream and envision a life-giving church that was making a difference in peoples lives.

The name Synergy Church is based on Ephesians 4:16 which says,

“He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love (NLT).

From this one verse we see a Church that is “healthy and growing and full of love” and is impacting a city with the Message of Jesus! That is what a synergistic church is all about!

SYN·ER·GY is “two or more people working together in order to create something that is greater than the sum of their individual efforts.” Simply put… we are BETTER TOGETHER.

A major thrust of our ministry plan involves working together with other churches and organizations to:

  • Build healthier families
  • Serve the needs of our community
  • Connect both unchurched and de-churched people to Jesus

Our target area is 77% unchurched with close to 300,000 people who don’t attend church anywhere!

Sunday Worship 11.10.2019 (explore faith find family)Our heart is to build a dynamic, life-giving, local church that not only teaches the eternal truths of the Word of God but mobilizes individuals and families to live them out in their everyday lives. We believe that the Gospel never changes but the methods that we use to reach people must. Our goal is to create a fun, faith-filled, grace-saturated, loving community that will help people flourish and become all that God designed for them to be.

  • Building our Dream Team
  • Connecting with other local pastors and leaders in the area
  • Our marketing campaign & strategy
  • Finding creative ways to serve our community

We know that we simply cannot do this alone. And while we have always encouraged others to “dream so big that without God it is bound to fail!”, we now find ourselves living this principle out in a very real way. So, WE ARE ASKING YOU TO PARTNER TOGETHER WITH US as we build Synergy Church.

  1. Thanks for your website and welcome to our area. I’ve been a pastor in our area for 25 years and I’m doing some research on the Sarasota-Bradenton area. I notice in your site that you say that “only 23% of Manatee County residents attend church any given weekend.” I’ve seen similar reference on other sites and i’m trying to see what source of info this statistic is drawn from. Could you please send me the source of that statistic for my study? I’d really appreciate it! Thanks and God bless! Pastor Tom Wilhoit, Fellowship of Believers church (

  2. Hi Tom, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The main source for these findings comes from David Olson, director of church planting for the Evangelical Covenant Church, which you will find at the following links:

    * or you can go directly to David Olson’s research site at *

However, I have also received similar findings from a source called Percept Group. The website is or These cost a little more to access.

    I hope these sites help.
